Quality Nuclear Services, Inc. provides Health Physics and Decontamination services to the nuclear power industry and is an small minority owned business, which was formed and incorporated in December of 1997 in the State of Arkansas. The owners at QNS have over 45 years experience in radiation protection and decontamination services in commercial nuclear power and have been involved in all levels of services from the technician level to project management, from contract administration to sales and marketing.

Key Management Personnel
Landry Cage, Vice President
Mr. Cage joined the Quality Nuclear Services management team in February 2004. He holds an Associates Degree from Tampa Technical Institute in computer engineering. Prior to joining QNS Landry worked for several contractors providing decontamination services to nuclear facilities in the U.S. He has extensive knowledge in providing a wide range of decontamination processes, decontamination services, project management, and business development.
James Byrd, President
Mr. Byrd is the founder of Quality Nuclear Services and currently serves as the President of the company. Responsible for the day to day operation of the company, Mr. Byrd has handled business development and contract administration for QNS contracts as large as $6 Million annually. Prior to founding QNS James was the Operations Manager for a major radiological services contract company in the commercial nuclear industry, responsible for all contract operations at all locations. James has been involved at all levels of Health Physics and Decontamination services from the technician level to project management, from contract administration to sales and marketing.
Joe Worley, Radiological Projects Manager
Mr. Worley joined the Quality Nuclear management team in July 2007. He currently serves as the Manager, Radiological Projects and is responsible for business development. Mr. Worley has extensive experience in business development, sales and marketing, and contract administration. For many years he worked for Combustion Engineering and it’s subsidiary companies as Director of Radiological Divisions. He was responsible for contract development and administration of contracts as large as $40 Million annually.
